This policy explains how the autoBuy app collects, uses, and protects information when installed on a Shopify store.
autoBuy allows merchants to generate Buy Now and Add to Cart buttons that can be embedded on external websites and connected to their Shopify store. We only access the data required for the app to function and do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing purposes.
When you install autoBuy, we access basic Shopify store information such as your store name, email address, currency, and plan type. This allows us to connect the app securely to your Shopify store and generate working checkout and cart links.
To create Buy Now and Add to Cart buttons, autoBuy may access product information including product titles, variant IDs, prices, availability status, and images. This data is used solely to generate accurate purchase buttons and links.
The app does not modify your products, pricing, inventory, or checkout settings.
We store app-related settings such as selected products, button styles, embed preferences, and generated embed codes. This enables you to manage and reuse your button configurations.
We may store limited usage information, such as whether a button has been generated or embedded. This helps ensure the app functions correctly and allows us to provide support if required.
autoBuy does not collect or store customer payment information. All checkout and payment processing is handled directly by Shopify.

We retain app-related data while your store has autoBuy installed. When you uninstall the app, all store-specific data associated with autoBuy is automatically removed within a reasonable period.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data is accessed only through Shopify’s official APIs as required to operate the app. Any embedded buttons simply direct customers to your Shopify cart or checkout and do not transmit sensitive customer data through our servers.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Uninstalling the app will also remove our access to your Shopify store data.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure API authentication, access controls, and adherence to Shopify’s recommended security practices.
